CBFM: Contrast Balance Infrared and Visible Image Fusion Based on Contrast-Preserving Guided Filter

چکیده

Infrared (IR) and visible image fusion is an important data processing technique that can accurately comprehensively integrate the thermal radiation texture details of source images. However, existing methods neglect high-contrast problem, leading to suboptimal performance when target information in IR images replaced by To address this limitation, we propose a contrast-balanced framework for fusion. Specifically, novel contrast balance strategy proposed process reduce energy while allowing detailed compensation overexposed areas. Moreover, contrast-preserving guided filter decompose into energy-detail layers high information. effectively extract active detail layer brightness layer, new weighted energy-of-Laplacian operator Gaussian distribution entropy scheme fuse layers, respectively. The fused result was obtained adding layers. Extensive experimental results demonstrate method highlighted simultaneously preserving details. In addition, exhibited superior compared state-of-the-art both qualitative quantitative assessments.

Image fusion-based contrast enhancement

The goal of contrast enhancement is to improve visibility of image details without introducing unrealistic visual appearances and/or unwanted artefacts. While global contrast-enhancement techniques enhance the overall contrast, their dependences on the global content of the image limit their ability to enhance local details. They also result in significant change in image brightness and introdu...

Image Fusion Based on Contrast Decomposition

This paper presents a novel method for fusing two or more differently exposed Low Dynamic Range LDR images of a High Dynamic Range HDR scene. Illumination estimation is applied to coarse and fine scales leading to the contrast decomposition process at both scales and assessing to the definition of the “well-exposed” pixels in the original exposure sequence. Membership functions are then employe...

Infrared and visible image fusion technology based on directionlets transform

The article provides an infrared and visible image fusion algorithm based on directionlets transform. The registered original images were decomposed into the low-frequency and high-frequency coefficients by directionlets transform. Fusion of Thermal Infrared and Visible Images Based on Multi-scale Transform and Sparse Representation

Due to the differences between the visible and thermal infrared images, combination of these two types of images is essential for better understanding the characteristics of targets and the environment. Thermal infrared images have most importance to distinguish targets from the background based on the radiation differences, which work well in all-weather and day/night conditions also in land s...

Contrast Enhancement Image Fusion With Using Gaussian Filter

Contrast enhancement has an important role in image processing applications. Conventional contrast enhancement techniques either often fail to produce satisfactory results for a broad variety of low-contrast images, or cannot be automatically applied to different images, because their parameters must be specified manually to produce a satisfactory result for a given image. This paper proposes a...
